Even though a major financial goal for most of us is to get out of debt, there will be times when we end up way over our heads. Credit card debt or other high interest debt can take over, putting us in a place where we can't survive. For those of you that are in this situation, there is help. If you had massive amounts of credit card debt a short 10 years ago, it would have been difficult to find help. Once you make the decision to get a loan to help with your debt, you will need to start shopping around. The worst thing you could ever do is grab the first loan option you have available. Let's take a look at an example to show the importance of find the lowest rate possible. Let's say that you take an $80,000 loan to restructure your credit card debt. Tell him that you are going to look at five or so other lending institutions before you make your final decision. Once you have your loan, you can enjoy a fresh start with lower interest payments. Make sure to control your high interest debt to prevent getting into the same bind again.

Previously, we talked about making money at home and the major differences between how the wealthy and poor feel about money. Their relationship with it literally determines their financial success and how much or little they have.

Remember that the LOA works whether you want it to or not. The things that you think about are the things which more than likely not will happen. Think about the things you want and try to avoid thinking about the things which you do not want.

Take money for instance. Say you spend a lot of time worrying about money. Chances are this will be your experience. You will (without being aware of it) actually create a reality that fulfills the circumstances you have been focusing on. This goes back to what we were discussing in (last week's ezine). The wealthy understand this principle and use it to their advantage. They spend the majority of their time thinking positively about money. It's the opposite for the poor ? they worry about it.

As I said, the LOA works in all areas of your life, not just your finances. The key is to think about what you want, not what you don't want. While it is true that your thoughts create your reality, a more accurate statement would be that your feelings create your reality.

By thinking about something, you activate your feelings toward it. The way you feel about things affects how effective the LOA will work to make them a reality. Remember back to week 2's e-zine where we discussed the importance of desire to making your goals a reality? It's all because the LOA responds to your feelings ? your thoughts are just the gateway to your feelings.

Think about it this way, behind every thought is a feeling good or bad. While there are varying degrees to "good" or "bad" feelings, there is really no in between. You are either focusing on a feeling that will either create the result you want or don't want. The more intense the feeling, the more intense the LOA will be. Feeling really good about something carries more power (or energy) than feeling somewhat neutral. Of course, the pendulum swings the other way as well; feeling really bad about something carries as much energy as feeling really good.

The future is not preordained ? you shape the future with your thoughts. Knowing this will help you to move your focus to the outcomes that you want and think positively about the future.
